Performs basic quality control checks including measuring, weighing, strength testing, package counts, and evaluating product or package appearance.

Folds & tapes boxes, applies labels, and stacks boxes on pallets according to direction.

May also deliver and load materials, position work, set up jobs, clean equipment and assist in monitoring equipment operation for proper function.

High school diploma or its equivalent preferred and experience in the field or in a related area.

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Will do a variety of tasks such as packaging, shrink wrapping, quality control, finalizing customer orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Take an active role in quality control as the bindery area is at the back end of the workflow.

Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills i.e. add, subtract, multiply, divide
• Able to lift up to 50lb with assistance.
• Familiarity with Windows based software.
• Read and interpret work orders
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Great communication with other team members
• Work effectively under time constraints.
• Is a person that is responsible for their own performance and output.
• Has a good attendance track record and is very reliable. Please do not apply if you struggle to come to work on time, not committed to working your scheduled shifts and if you do not have reliable transportation.

Position Details

• Full Time with benefits.
• 8:00-5:00 Monday through Friday.
• $14-16 – Depending on previous experience or relatable experience.
