J&J Truck Bodies and Trailers is looking for part-time experienced truck body installers who will prepare chassis to receive bodies, cut, weld, and modify chassis as required, install wiring and electrical components, and hydraulic system components; install lift axles; install plow hoists, body hoists and hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic components and controls, and similar tasks. Performs similar tasks on trailers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Check driveshaft clearance
• Ensure proper routing of airlines
• Competent in basic shop math
• Modify and prepare chassis as required by the work order.
• Install wiring and electrical components.
• Install pneumatic controls and components.
• Install hydraulic controls and components.
• Install plow lifts and hoists.
• Install lift axles.
• Install body hoists and hoist cylinder(s)
• Safely perform duties; wear always required PPE
• Observes and complies with all provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS

Education and Experience:

• Vocational/technical training and a high school diploma or general education degree with work experience in an industrial setting are needed.
