Position: Registered Nurse - Infection Control
Location: Yuma, Arizona
Type: Permanent role with full benefits
Pay: $45 - $55/hr (includes Relocation Assistance, Temporary Housing, and Full Benefits Package)
Shift: 8 am - 5 pm (Monday - Friday)

Overview:
Take your expertise to one of the sunniest places on earth – Yuma, AZ! As an Infection Preventionist, you will develop and maintain infection prevention policies and procedures for both the Medical Center and outpatient settings, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct infection prevention surveillance activities.
• Assist the healthcare team with the care of infected patients, including isolation procedures.
• Collaborate with Employee Health on programs for influenza vaccination and tuberculosis screening.
• Provide information, education, and recommendations to reduce and prevent the spread of infections among patients, visitors, healthcare workers, and the community.
• Stay updated with and apply current infection control standards and literature.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
• Preferably, 2 years of experience in Infection Preventionist roles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Yuma, AZ: Relocate before starting work (Required)
