GH Tool is NOT a production shop. Our skilled CNC Machinists set up and operate high speed 3 axis and 5 axis CNC machines, and make necessary measurements in order to manufacture custom designed components within tolerance.

As CNC Supervisor your role:

• Oversees CNC Machinists and Programmers to meet department and company objectives.
• Interacts with various cells on a daily basis to maintain delivery schedule.
• Leads continuous improvement in cells.
• Develops personnel to be efficient and effective at set ups and machining.
• Makes decisions on a daily basis and on a wide variety of problem solutions.
• Sets standards for employees through employee reviews.
• Maintains documentation of reference material for all CNC equipment.
• Makes recommendation of prospective employees for hire or promotion.

Requirements:

• 2 year technical degree or 3 years equivalent experience in CNC machining.
• Demonstrated experience supervising, coaching, and training personnel.
• Great team player that effectively communicates needs, ideas, and concerns to all appropriate personnel to make the company better.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math calculations.
• Good computer proficiency, including data entry skills and familiarity with various software programs.
• Physical ability to move, lift and push up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Physical ability to walk and stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift, in increments of up to 6 hours.
