Position: Registered Nurse
Shift: Nights
Location: 1 Atkinson Dr, Ludington, MI 49503
Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Pay Rate: $50 to $55 per hour
Job Summary:
Quality Healthcare Staffing seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shifts. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and Michigan state regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care in alignment with health system policies and ANA standards.
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
- Perform point-of-care testing and ensure accurate documentation.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Educate patients and families, evaluating progress towards health goals.
- Initiate discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions of care.
- Lead and delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Engage in professional development and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
