Knowledge of English, spelling and arithmetic.
Knowledge of filing techniques and basic computer skills related to email and data entry.
Abilities:
Ability tounderstand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to make arithmetic computations and tabulations accurately and with reasonable speed.
Ability to learn assigned tasks readily and to adhere to prescribed routine.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public and fellow employees.
Ability to assist coworkers in an emergency.
Ability to input data into a computer workstation.
Skills:
English alphabetic and numeric literacy.
Skilled in handling money and working with people.
Basic computer literacy, including Internet, e-mail and Microsoft Windows and Office (Word).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Provide customer service byanswering routine questions and providing directions for patrons. Calculate and collect aquatics fees and prepares daily deposits.
Register patrons for activities and programs. May assist with scheduled program events, as needed.
Maintain daily records.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Perform related work as requested or assigned.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS: Good hand/eye coordination. Good vision and hearing with or without correction. Use of both hands, fingers and legs with dexterity. Very frequent light lifting and carrying (30 lbs. or less) and frequent heaving lifting (up to 75 lbs.), reaching above shoulders, kneeling, bending and squatting. Constant walking, standing and sitting in an indoor environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential FUNCTIONS. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION REQUIREMENTS: Mostly work inside in a sedentary or standing position. May have some exposure to outside elements. EXPERIENCE : Some retail or clerical experience. LICENSE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION: Must obtain CPR Certification within 30 days of employment.Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record. If you do not possess a driver's license, you must sign the County approved agreement that a County vehicle will not be driven during employment.
