Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Counter Person. As a Counter Person, you will be responsible for providing parts to technicians, filling online parts orders, keeping an accurate inventory, ordering parts, and managing warranty returns.

Duties:
- Look up parts accurately based on technician needs.
- Run parts out to technicians as they need them
- Monitor electronic communications between technicians and advisors using Microsoft teams
- Process sales transactions accurately
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
- Excellent math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and taxes
- Basic Automotive knowledge and understanding of basic systems and components
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to market products and upsell to customers
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other computer software applications
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
