Barrett-Jackson Auction Co, LLC is Hiring an Accounts Payable Coordinator Near Scottsdale, AZ
Job Description
Position Purpose:
Accounts Payable Coordinator's primary responsibilities will consist of full-cycle Accounts Payable for the timely and accurate processing and recording of vendor invoices and other payables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain approvals, proper documentation, and multi-dimensional coding for A/P invoices
- Enter A/P invoices into accounting system and process weekly check run
- Prepare weekly A/P Aging reports
- Review and compare vendor statement balances with system report(s)
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist in year end 1099 processing and filing
- Assist with G/L account Reconciliations
- Assist with credit card reconciliations
- Auction related activities including cash sheets, cash management, and other duties as assigned by the Controller and/or Accounting Supervisor
Qualifications:
- 5 years high volume Accounts Payable experience preferred or Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
- Team player, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task
- Computer skills (MS Office, Intermediate level Excel)
- Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Experience with accounting systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central accounting software preferred
- Form 1099-NEC & 1099-MISC processing experience required
- Must be able to travel
Experience and/or Education:
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required
