Duties/Responsibilities
- Bulk liquid tanker hauling,
- Testing aviation fuels to assure quality,
- Maintaining vehicle to comply with all D.O.T. regulations,
- Providing high level of service to customers,
- Complying with all company safety rules, policies & procedures
- Representing Avfuel Corporation with professionalism.
- Must be willing to temporarily relocate to for a periods of time to work in other cities. (estimate could be 2-3 weeks).
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to clear a background check pursuant to local, state and federal rules regarding transportation of hazardous materials, and pass D.O.T. physical, drug screen, and obtain a D.O.T. medical card.
- High School diploma or GED
- 21 years of age or older
- Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements
- Tanker sizes vary between 7,500 gallons to 13,000 gallons.
- Flatbed experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years' verifiable tractor-trailer experience or a graduate of an accredited truck driving school
- Prolonged periods of driving.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work independently.
