Job Purpose

As the Director/Sr. Director, Product Management & Operations you will be responsible for overseeing software product lifecycles to ensure alignment with business strategy and client expectations. This role will work collaboratively across the organization to ensure the delivery of high-quality products on customer approved timelines while implementing best practices in product management. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of both the industry and the company's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project management processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure efficient and effective delivery of software products.
  • Communicate product status, updates, and key milestones to executive leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the organization.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple product programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget.
  • Establish and implement best practices, processes, and tools for product development, testing, deployment, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, features, and enhancements.
  • Analyze and report on product performance, user feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Hire, manage, mentor and coach product teams and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and market changes.
  • Develop and drive the overall product strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure a customer-centric approach to product development.
  • Gather customer feedback and incorporate it into the product strategy.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in SaaS based product organization or related roles. Previous experience in progressively responsible leadership positions within product management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the financial impact of product decisions.
  • Ability to facilitate effective communication and collaboration across different departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • A bias towards action and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

WellDoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.

Required Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
