We are excited to hire a Human Resources Director! The Human Resources Director plans and executes human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance for Stadium Management Company, LLC, DB Cheerleaders, LLC, and Denver Broncos Team, LLC.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Administers and helps oversee human resource department programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave programs, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, employee recognition and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Collaborates with HR Leadership to understand the department’s and organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruitment, development, and retention and helps develop approaches to achieve identified goals.
  • Manages performance management and employee relations issues to maximize employee performance by ensuring timely completion of performance reviews, coaching managers, direct reports, and employees, conducting periodic pay surveys, making recommendations to managers, suggesting training plans, addressing performance matters, conducting exit interviews and termination meetings, as necessary.
  • Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Oversees benefit management (e.g. health/wellness programs as well as 401k Plans) by communicating benefit information to employees, resolving discrepancies and claims issues, auditing files for accuracy, assisting with annual enrollment meetings, participating in meetings with outside vendors, making recommendations for plan improvements, troubleshooting problems, and recommending solutions.
  • Conducts recruitment activities in conjunction with hiring manager by posting job openings, coordinating communication with applicants, interviewing potential candidates, evaluating work samples, extending offers of employment, and conducting background screenings completed prior to hire.
  • Contributes to team effort by assisting in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department against established goals, recommending new approaches/procedures to ensure continual improvement and efficiency of department, and offering support and insight to VP, HR to accomplish related results.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, legal developments, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
  • 8 years of diverse and progressive HR experience in a generalist capacity dealing with complex business and Human Resources issues. PHR/SPHR certification highly desired.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to confidently interact with senior-level decision makers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of state and federal laws including familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, FLSA, and HIPAA.
  • Ability to maintain confidence and protect HR/Payroll information by keeping information confidential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Superior verbal/written communication and presentation skills; good punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail a must; ability to work with extreme accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills essential. Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude and relate to people at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work hours outside of normal business hours with little or no advance notice.
  • Expert experience in Microsoft suite of products including Teams.
  • Expertise in HR information systems with project management experience in at least one implementation
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $140,000 - $160,000. This position will be required to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays outside of a normal working hours as needed.
This position will be located at the Centura Health Training Center in Englewood, CO and at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, CO. This job posting will remain open until we have identified an adequate applicant pool. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply early.
