Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interact with Sales and CAD departments to modify drawings quickly and accurately during design and/or production process.
- Support all departments through a variety of tasks, including proposal drawings, foundation drawings, clearance drawings and engineered drawings.
- Prepare installation documents; coordinate document distribution to vendors, customers, and job sites.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2 years' experience in AutoCAD and/or Micro-Station or 3 years' experience working in multiple departments within Big Top Manufacturing.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough understanding of industry drafting standards and practices.
- Time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team player; ability to collaborate with dynamic engineering and manufacturing team.
- Must be trainable and eager to learn.
- Knowledge of product and fabrication process is preferred, but not required if the candidate has a strong background in computer software.
- Some travel; requires valid driver's license.
- Associates degree in Computer-Aided Drafting; relevant experience may substitute for education requirement.
- One year's experience in installation of company's product is preferred; must be willing to travel to gain necessary experience.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery, such as copiers, printers, and telephones.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 95% of the time.
- Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. Overtime may be required.
- Must be able to accurately exchange information with co-workers, management, vendors, and customers.
