We are seeking an experienced Merchant Services Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving company growth while ensuring adherence to underwriting, risk, and compliance standards. As a Merchant Risk Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Technology, to assess merchant risk effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Assessment: Review merchant applications for account approval, developing and implementing mitigation strategies and reserves to manage risk effectively.
• Transaction Monitoring: Analyze batch activity and transactional behavior for anomalies and exceptions, proactively identifying potential risks.
• Collaborative Approach: Work closely with internal departments and relationship managers to communicate identified risk concerns and facilitate resolutions.
• Policy Management: Update policy and procedure documents as necessary to reflect approved changes and ensure compliance.
• Project Maintenance: Maintain and improve existing projects as requested, adapting to changes within the department.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in Merchant Services, with a proven track record of effectively managing risk.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Excel and other relevant tools for data analysis.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong organizational and analytical skills, coupled with keen attention to detail and note-taking abilities.
• Deadline Management: Ability to adhere to task deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Independence and Judgment: Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and apply common sense in decision-making.

This position offers a salary within the range of USD $65,000-85,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package including:
