Ellumen is Hiring a Remote Business Analyst/ Technical Writer
Ellumen, named a Top Workplace by the Washington Post, is a small business headquartered in Silver Spring, MD. We provide a broad spectrum of information technology and ancillary services to government and commercial customers. We seek remote Management Analyst to join us in support of a U.S. Customer and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) program.
Required
- 4 years of strong BA background
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies (CSM certification preferred).
- Excellent Communication skills with the ability to collaborate and share insights with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to create, document and execute test cases, test scenarios and test scripts.
- Identify, log and analyze defects.
- Work independently and as a member of a cross functional team
- Collect, synthesize and document requirements following
- Experience with Jira, Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge gathering requirements and documenting user stories, workflows and acceptance.
- Experience with software & hardware integrations.
- Wiling and Capable of quick learning in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Mobile and Web Testing experience.
- Review product artifacts for accuracy, format, spelling, and other issues.
- Create technical documentation that communicates complex information in a clear, concise, and organized manner.
- Review program documentation including management reports and presentations, technical documentation, User Guides, and other artifacts.
- Provide minutes for key meetings/calls
- Organize and review program artifact repositories (Confluence, SharePoint, Teams) for content and format and useability.
- Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and organizational skills.
- Able to collaborate with technical and end user resources to create content.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Visio or other software to create org charts or diagrams
- Ability to multi-task and work tasks without frequent oversight
- Participate in Scrum meetings
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience of management consulting experience in a federal space is required.
- Three (3) - five (5) years’ experience in leading IT project technical writing is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Must be a US citizen. Clearance required.
