All Candidates Must Have The Following:

  • Minimum 3 Years Experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Preferably Federal Government Experience
  • Preferably HHS Experience, CDC, or Medical Industry Experience

Desire Candidates to have (This is a Preference not Requirement):

  • PM experience in an OCIO (office of the CIO)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • The contract resources must have relevant project management background and experience, including an active Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or generally accepted government equivalent (e.g., Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FACP/PM).
  • The Project Manager should provide full lifecycle project management support using standardized and industry accepted methodologies for project initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
  • The Project Manager should support OCIO-Ops to deploy/migrate solutions to the production environment that will require coordination with some or all of the OCIO-Ops StaffDiv, and OpDiv customers.
  • The Project Manager should ensure all deliverables, documentation, and artifacts adhere to the HHS EPLC policies, processes, and templates as applicable to include project plans, schedules, Project Charter, Project Management Plan, Risk Management Plan, Communications.
  • The Project Manager should be able to initiate a Management Plan, and Change Management Plan. This shall also include the delivery and update as needed of a work breakdown structure and activity/milestone schedule for each ongoing and planned project.
  • The Project Manager should be able to maintain written project statuses via the project dashboard weekly.
  • The Project Manager should assist the PMO to prepare for and participate in project status reviews, stage gate reviews, and other oversight meetings with OCIO-Operations leadership and/or customer organizations.
  • The Project Manager should provide project management support to assist the PMO to liaise and collaborate with OpDiv and StaffDiv customers on project requirements and objectives.
  • The Project Manager should maintain project deliverables, reports, and other artifacts on the project collaboration site provided by the Government.
  • The Project Manager should be able to develop and prepare federal acquisition related documents for contracts, including PWS, IGCE, Requirements, privacy and security documents, market research reports, selection criteria, etc.
  • The Project Manager should be able to develop, review, and/or maintain a Risk Registry throughout the Life Cycle of the Project.
