Hours: 40 Salary: $15.45 Calendar: 204 * Para Mentor and Career Counselor Position* PURPOSEThis position provides administrative support to the Director of Career Technical Education including tracking and support of the department’s budget, inventory and purchasing. This position also provides additional support by arranging and coordinating department staff activities, resolving billing questions, directing and answering stakeholder questions, supporting the department’s administrator with correspondence, and general support including monitoring compliance issues, along with data and reporting assistance. This position also provides receptionist duties for the Career Technical Education office. Performance ResponsibilitiesThis position manages the overall documentation paperwork and accounting for the department, including creating purchase orders, maintaining inventory, tracking attendance, correspondence, and general support of the Director of Career Technical Education. Essential Duties
All PO’s, ordering and receiving for CTE Dept;
Create documents;
Answer phones and address concerns or route to correct person;
Filing;
Correspondence;
Assist Director with reports;
Assist Director with correspondence;
Assist in tracking of substitute codes for the CTE department;
Projects and duties as assigned by the Director of CTE.
Qualifications
Strong computer software skills, including Word, Excel, and other types of programs for data, presentation, and program management;
Strong customer service skills;
Budgets and tracking in Excel;
Must be able to communicate proficiently in both verbal and written communication;
Ability to work cooperatively and productively with others;
Must have the ability to work independently;
Strong organizational and systematic work skills;
Ability to effectively manage time and resources;
Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
