Job Summary:
Receives, stores, transfers, and issues petroleum; Prepares and checks receiving documents; Connects lines, grounding wires, and loading and offloading arms or hoses; Visually inspects each systems prior to the first use of each day; Ensures systems not being used are inspected at least once every seven days; Gauges tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels, checks pumping systems for correct operating pressure or unusual noises, performs operator inspections on fuel and distribution systems and cryogenic tanks, assists in maintenance of loading and offloading area; Works within a framework of established DLA policies, and procedures, or other governing supply management guidelines. FDSO will also be a pipeline rider.
Required education and experience
Two years’ experience in fuels operations, along with applicable training courses, and will equivalent to an AF Fuels Management five-skill level (2F051).
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI
