About The OpportunityThis is an opportunity for an Operations Manager to join a national commercial real estate brokerage firm. The Operations Manager will report to the CFO and oversee daily operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency, productivity, and compliance. This role involves managing various functions, including Human Resources and Information Technology, to ensure cohesive and streamlined business processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial real estate, office operations, human resources, and IT systems
About The CompanyOur client is an industry-leading boutique retail real estate brokerage and advisory firm with over 25 years of experience in assisting retailers, restaurants, and landlords in lease and sales negotiations as well as strategic planning, market analysis, and dispositions.
ResponsibilitiesOperations / HR Related:
  • Schedule monthly company meetings
  • Send company correspondence of Holidays and events
  • Assist in planning company conferences
  • Track vacation/PTO
  • Initial interviews for new or replacement candidates
  • Onboard new employees or independent contractors
  • New hire (employee or IC) orientation
  • Exit interviews
  • Resolve all internal issues amongst employees in collaboration with the CFO
  • Update employee handbook
  • Formulate incentives and promotions
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
IT Related
  • Manage relations with MSP, including reviewing invoices for accuracy and submitting requests for equipment upgrades or replacements
  • Maintain user and PC inventory
  • Develop a training session for employees to recognize spam and review cybersecurity options
  • Troubleshoot issues for non-managed users
  • Prepare IT budget for approval and reconcile purchases vs budget monthly
  • Demo or research new product requests and look for products to help the business operate more efficiently
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of operations management experience, preferably within the commercial real estate industry
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate operations, including property management and leasing
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
