This position is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of campus facilities for on-campus events and activities; provides logistical planning, scheduling and coordination of supporting services to ensure effectiveness of accommodations and services for camps & conferences; serves as point person for external facility rentals; and provides administrative support to the Associate Vice President for Institutional Operations.
The Administrative Assistant will assist the Plant Operations Department in managing the daily affairs of the office. This position will provide a wide range of clerical duties such as answering phone calls, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the upkeep of work order requests. This position will also be involved with the processes that include bids, purchase orders, and invoices for payment. This position must excel at problem solving and understanding the importance of handling confidential information.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and commiserate experience required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Job-related experience may substitute for degree.
Experience: Some experience in administrative support is required, 3-5 years is preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; excellent organizational skills and attention to logistical details; ability to establish and maintain positive relations with all department and external clients and supporting service providers; ability to simultaneously handle a variety of tasks and successfully manage deadline-driven initiates. Proficient in duties typically performed by an administrative assistant with a high level of competency in Microsoft Office 365.
