Look no further because we are currently seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to join our growing USI team in Edgewater, New Jersey!
Security Officer Job Responsibilities :
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
- Investigates & reports security breaches, open doors, incidents, and other alarming or suspicious activity to the shift supervisor.
- Enforces all rules and regulations required to ensure a safe environment.
- Tickets and facilitates towing of illegally parked vehicles, in accordance with the property's parking rules and regulations.
- Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
Schedule & Hours
We have Part-Time availability for this location with the below schedule :
FRIDAY / SATURDAY : 11PM-7AM
Security Officer Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year security experience required.
- Minumum of 1 year vehicle patrol experience required.
- Must be able to drive / patrol / bike for up to 8 hours.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments.
- Ability to work inside and outside of designated community, with possible exposure to inclement weather conditions.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Active NJ SORA Security License
- Active Driver's License Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- CPR / AED Certification
