S alary and Benefits Package :

Starting basic salary for a Sworn, Certified Patrol Officer with the South Boston Police Department is within the range of $47,380 - $56,650.

In addition to the salary, all newly hired Sworn Patrol Officers receive a pre-tax hiring bonus of $2,500.

The following benefits are offered to all upon accepting a position with the South Boston Police Department. :
