Townhouse Center for Nursing and Rehabilitaton is a skilled nursing facility caring for both the geriatrics and pediatrics populations. We are currently seeking a RN Unit Manager to join our team as a great leader.

Responsibilities as a Unit Manager:

  • Responsible for the daily operations of a nursing unit within the facility
  • Supervise CNAs, LPNs, and RNs and participate in their evaluations including competency checklists
  • Assist in solving clinical and administrative problems
  • Supervise care delivery systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Provide clinical expertise in medical, behavioral, and crisis management
  • Participate with the Interdisciplinary Team in developing, implementing, and evaluating a means to achieve resident care goals
  • Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to accomplish facility and patient-care goals
  • Provide regular resident status updates to appropriate personnel
  • Conduct and document a complete data collection of each residents medical status upon admission and throughout the residents course of treatment
  • Assist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned resident
  • Assist nursing personnel to act in compliance with corporate policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service to our residents and families
  • Communicate with families and physicians regarding our residents

Requirements for a Unit Manager:

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
  • Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
