Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Charge Nurse Evening/Overnight
The Charleston Senior Community is looking to add qualified LPN's to our team. We have FT and PT positions available. This position serves as the charge nurse, overseeing the care team, administering medications, documenting on residents, and providing the highest level of compassion and care. Every other weekend is required, and some holidays.

Maintain Certification, First aid, and CPR

Attend mandatory meetings, trainings and in-services

Maintain work operations by following Policies and Procedures

Works as part of a healthcare team to assess residents’ needs, plan and modify care, implement interventions, and to assist CNA’s and CMT’s in effort to provide optimal care.

Maintain a safe work environment and exhibit safe work practices in accordance with Community policies and procedures, including infection control techniques to prevent the spread of communicable diseases.

Maintains knowledge of state and local laws/regulations,, as well as adheres to, upholds, and enforces all community policies and procedures.

Assist Director of Resident Care with discipline and performance evaluations of CNA’s and CMT’s.

Observe and report changes in residents on move-in, return from hospital and skilled nursing facilities.

· Communicates with families, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
