SUMMARY
Assist in set up and operation of an aluminum extrusion press and auxiliary equipment to produce aluminum extrusions by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES while operating the press include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists in all areas of the press where needed.
• Assists in all areas of the billet heaters where needed.
• Maintains professional communication with supervisors and co-workers to insure an efficient and safe work operation.
• Follows instructions on work orders.
• Performs any task assigned by supervisor.
• Works scheduled overtime as required.
• With the assistance of other personnel; insure safety lockouts are engaged when required.
• Follows safe work procedures.

Demonstrate ability to set up and operate equipment without supervision.
Demonstrate ability to run equipment without breakdown and maintain productivity based on historical run times.
Demonstrate ability to produce defect-free parts.
Demonstrate ability to complete all applicable paperwork associated with this job title.
Individual is familiar with lockout/tagout and other safety related issues associated with this job title.
