Position Summary: The Kids team administrator is responsible for all tasks related to curriculum, preparatory work & team housekeeping. 

Hours: 25

Reports to: Kids Ministry Director

Key Responsibilities:

Weekly 

• Prepare printable items for Ages 3 months - 3rd Grade 
• Order needed Kids supplies for Sunday curriculum 
• Make sure all environments are prepped and ready for Sunday (preschool rooms & elementary carts) by Thursday evening 
• Make supply runs/orders for all of Kids supplies & keep up to date list of needed supplies from team
• Manage data of Summit Kids Sunday Services by managing Sunday count
• Connect with Volunteer Coordinator about weekly curriculum for volunteer communication
• Manage the schedule of the Kids Team through calendar requests and facilities requests
• Execute Sunday duties as scheduled by Kids Director 
• Be prepared and willing to teach any age group
• Lead volunteers by modeling our leader expectations 
• Support volunteers by replenishing supplies
• Be prepared to explain/support teaching of curriculum
• Be available to jump in and engage with families 
• Continually looking for opportunities to build relationships with kids, parents and volunteers
• Attend weekly Kids Meeting 
• Attend weekly Staff Meeting 
• Attend BI-weekly one on one with Kids Director 

Monthly 

• Housekeeping of Summit Kids environments and improvements 
  • Storage closet
  • Decor 
  • Functionality of items such as rocking chairs, baby supplies, toys, etc 
• Schedule team “work” days upon Kids Director requests 
• Request updates such as paint, facilities updates, and larger projects 
• Assist Kids Director in planning theme-based weekly games and activities (especially for special occasions such as Christmas, Easter, Mothers & Fathers Day, Valentines and Thanksgiving)
• Meet with Kids Director to go over curriculum teaching & ideas for all ages 

Annually/As Needed

• Participate in all-staff conferences and retreats
• Assist VBS in all administrative needs 
• Participate in VBS and family events as scheduled
