STX Process Equipment (STX) is accepting applications for Heavy Equipment Operator

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport and Operate a variety of light, medium , and heavy duty equipment used in the maintenance and repair of construction projects

• Maintain the safe working condition of all equipment used; performs minor repairs on equipment and reports the need for major repairs; performs mandatory pre-trip vehicle inspections.

• Inspect equipment and trailers,

• lubricate, adjust, or repair machinery and replace parts, such as gears, bearings, or bucket teeth prior to and after operation.

• Read and understand survey markings and blueprint drawings; surveys job sites for underground utilities that may interfere with excavation.

• Perform heavy and semi-skilled construction maintenance and labor work when not operating equipment regularly assigned.

• Travel and perform after-hours on call and emergency work.

• Perform related duties as required by Operations.

• Operate and maintain hand and power tools pertaining to the work in a safe and efficient manner.

• Fill out and/or verify information on all job-related field tickets and JSAs.

• Communicate with Project Manager (client) and Scheduler on job progress.

• Enforces all company and client safety policies and procedures.

• Complies with all company policies and procedures.

• Attends safety meetings and training as required.

• Work safely in remote locations throughout South Texas.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL.

• Must pass pre-employment requirements: DISA Drug Screen, Physical Assessment, Safety Orientations, etc.

• Ability to lift, bend and stretch.

• Pass all task related Operator Qualifications (OQ).

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
