Job purpose

The individual will be primarily responsible for processing billing requests for attorneys in our Boston office.

Duties and responsibilities

• Print and distribute monthly and on-demand pre-bill reports to billing attorneys and others as requested.
• Review and edit pre-bills per attorney and secretary direction.
• Finalize and post invoices and write-offs in Elite 3E.
• Prepare and send paper bills and receivable statements to clients as well as submit electronic bills when appropriate.
• Produce client billing and payment summaries for attorneys upon request.
• Research and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices/statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 2-3 years accounting experience in a professional services/time entry environment.
• Experience with Elite, electronic billing and on-line internet banking sites strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
• Excellent attention to detail. High integrity individual who takes ownership or results. Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a collegial and professional environment.
• Hybrid: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.
