The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to join our team as an environmental specialist with the Division of Surface Water (DSW) at our Central Office in downtown Columbus.
This position is a ‘model’ opportunity for you.
In this role, you’ll develop Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for point and nonpoint sources of pollution by performing complex and non-complex water quality modeling for analysis of source discharges, using both conservative and non-conservative parameters. This work will involve the reduction and analysis of field data, compilations of background and support information using GIS skills, R, and various computer water quality models to calculate waste load allocations.
