Machine Set Up Technician - $24-$32/hr

Sunlite Plastics, a division of Diversatek, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for experienced Machine Setup Technicians in our Medical Tubing Division in Germantown, WI. We are a plastics extrusion company that provides custom tubing to medical markets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Set up machines.

· Make adjustments to machines

· Diagnose and remedy operation and tooling complications.

· Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards.

· Cleanout machine and prepare for material change.

· Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency, to execute schedules and to allow for uninterrupted set-ups.

· Maintain proper documentation through accurate records of production process and machine settings.

· Communicate job status to department manager.

· Assist in training operators.

· Contribute to continual improvement.

· Follow the safe practices and housekeeping policies.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Machine Setup Technician (training on extrusion machines and processes will be provided)

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Excellent attention to detail and precision

· Familiarity with quality control processes and standards

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Good communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• 2nd shift 12:00am – 8:30am
