Position Summary Acts as a liaison for all incoming clients into the practice offering exceptional customer service. Collects fees at time of service to include outstanding balances.
Assists with answering calls ensuring the proper documentation of information is gathered and passed on to clinical staff and providers.
Practice Representatives will maintain an open line of communication with the clerical team and practice manager with various duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This position requires a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude towards the patients, physicians, and fellow employees.
Individual must be innovative and self-motivating, engaging in tasks without being directed to do so. Individual must be detail oriented.
Answers telephones with standard scripting. Enters telephone messages for patients accurately and timely for clinical staff and providers to answer.
Processes incoming and outgoing documents. Collects co-pays and balances on accounts. Reviews patient reports including eligibility, payments due, and call reports.
Also assists team members in reviewing daily batches and check deposits when required. Any other duties as assigned by the manager or team leader.
