Southwest Health and Human Services is Hiring a Case Aide- Parenting Time Specialist Near Pipestone, MN

Southwest Health and Human Services currently has an opening for a part-time Parenting Time Specialist Case Aide. This position is based in our Pipestone office.

Southwest Health and Human Services (SWHHS) is a multi-county agency committed to strengthening individuals, families and communities by providing quality services in a respectful, caring and cost-effective manner.

The primary purpose of this position is to supervise visits and provide basic parenting education to families involved in the child welfare system. These visits would occur in the office, in the community or in the client home. To adequately deliver these services, the provider would need to have experience and knowledge in parenting, the child welfare system, trauma and attachment and child development, as well as overall health. A firm understanding of the local resources as well as education regarding social determinants of health, health inequity, social inclusion and mental health would also be a requirement of the worker.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three years of successful clerical experience and/or experience working with the public, or the equivalent.

or

  • Two years of successful clerical experience in a social services/human services agency.

or

  • Two years of experience as a Community Service Aide or similar experience in a private non-profit agency or other public agency.

or

  • Two years of study at an accredited two or four year college/university or similar institution, with emphasis in the behavioral sciences (at least 23 quarter credits or 16 semester credits).

Starting Rate of Pay: $19.53 - $33.06/hour
