We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in all aspects of store operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with retail management experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Duties:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Manage and supervise a team of retail associates
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions and maintain accurate records
- Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in using POS systems and other retail technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of retail math and ability to analyze sales data
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
