Second Family, Inc. is seeking a detail and accuracy oriented maitenance professiona this person will work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills are critical.

• Keep buildings, grounds, and equipment in good repair.
• Ensure maintenance requests and reviewed and completed in a timely manner.
• Assist with a varity of moves, i.e office, and individuals, etc.
• Set up for workshops and other special events.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance, including cleaning.
• Set out trash on assigned pick up days.
• Assist with supply pick up, including maintenance materials, household goods, grocierices, etc.
• Ensure periodic checks and changes are completed including filter changes, etc.
• Ensure that generators are charged monthly.
• Use various equipment includ
• ing, lawnmower, snow blower, etc.
• Chack facilities to ensure they are in good repair.
• Clean ceiling fans monthly.
• Ensure grounds are free from litter and debris, includes seasonal maintenance (i.e. raking leaved, removing snow)
• If necessay, assist staff with lifting and transfer of individuals
• Ability to work a standard 40 hour work week and be able to be on-call.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and TRAINING

High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

Ability to keep records confidential

Priior grounds keeping experience preferred

Must be able to follow written and verbal instructiions

Must be able to work independenly

Must be able to read and understand instruction manuals

Must possess a valid driver's license

Experience in operating mowers, chainsaws, tractors, and other equipment preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds

Must be able to bend, squat, work on hands/knees, reach above heand and push equipment

Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions

Must be able to climb a ladder

Must be able to dig trenches and holes

Must be able to stand for a minimum of two hours at a time
