The Manager, Salesforce Grants System will serve as a key system administrator for Smile Train's global programs and grantmaking information workflow system. A major focus will be to provide day to day system maintenance, user training, user support, and ensure high data quality. The Manager will understand system setup, use cases, and how it supports Smile Train Programs. The position is part of the Grants Management team, supporting Smile Train's vision and strategic program goals by coordinating program and grantmaking operations, systems, and data.
The Manager will report to the Senior Director, Salesforce Grants System. This position is short term employment spanning 18-24 months with full benefits, including no cost health care.
Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource and knowledge expert and provide day to day user support for the Salesforce grants and programs system for Smile Train staff and grantees.
  • Train users in person and remotely on use of the Salesforce Grants System and Salesforce Apps.
  • Create and maintain database training materials.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and liaise with Senior Director, Salesforce Grants System or technical support as needed.
  • Control database access (assign users and user profiles and permissions).
  • Ensure data integrity by handling duplicate records, utilizing reports to identify and remediate problematic data, managing data backups with OwnBackup, and implementing strong permissions and validation rules.
  • Perform data imports and updates.
  • Configure updates to custom fields as needed.
  • Create and maintain grantee applications, grantee reports, document and correspondence templates, custom fields, and workflows.
  • Manage product updates for Salesforce and Salesforce Apps.
  • Test new functionality and features in development to support business processes.
  • Perform end to end system testing when system updates/enhancements are made.
  • Create and produce custom reports, searches, and saved database views for users.
  • Liaise with software/app, implementation/support, and consulting vendors as needed.
Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate has/is:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Salesforce certified administrator with at least 1-2 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce system administration. Experience with foundationConnect a plus.
  • Experience developing useful learning tools and training materials.
  • Advanced MS Excel and Word skills, tech savvy and a quick learner with new software systems.
  • Experience with these Salesforce apps a plus: Conga Composer, Conga Trigger, GridBuddy, DocuSign, Mass Action Scheduler, Declarative Lookup Rollup Summaries, CSI Watchlist.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and superb written and verbal communication skills; excellent cross-cultural communication skills and sensitivity to other cultural values, norms, and customs.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and acclimate to evolving priorities; demonstrated experience handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Flexibility and initiative to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Passion for Salesforce system administration and Smile Train's mission and vision.
Salary range: $80,000 - $95,000
