We are currently searching for a dependable and diligent Dishwasher to join our culinary team located in Midlothian, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to our culinary staff and ensuring that both the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and sanitary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tend to dishwashing machine in order to clean plates, glasses, silverware, pots, and pans
• Organize food storage areas and store daily orders
• Inspect flatware, dishes, glasses, pots, and pans to ensure they are clean
• Collect and eliminate garbage from the kitchen area
• Clean and sanitize garbage cans, and replace with new bags
• Break down cardboard boxes and transfer to recycling bin
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Clean cooking equipment
• Assist in food preparation
• Maintain overall kitchen hygiene
• Organize and sanitize coolers, freezers, and storage areas
• Continuously inspect kitchen floors to ensure they remain clean, dry, and free of debris

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required
• Ability to operate dishwashing machine and other cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and cleaning techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
