Your role as a Patient Care Specialist is critical to the success of the practice. In this position, you will be working 1 on 1 with patients, helping them reshape the way they approach their health, and making sure they feel good from the inside out.

To Be Successful in this Role:

*You love working on computers - a lot of your time will be spent working with our Electronic Health Records system transcribing notes and inputting charge codes, as well as working in our software to schedule patients, so having a love for working on computers and the ability to learn new things is essential.

*You are health conscious - our office believes in overall health and wellness, and we expect our staff to emulate that in their personal and professional life.

*You can multi task - your position requires a lot of movement within the office, both at the front desk and in the back office, so having a personality where you can manage multiple tasks at once is imperative.

*You are extremely proactive & diligent - you are managing the flow of the office! Being able to anticipate the doc's needs (after you're trained up with our team) will make you stand out from the rest.

Essential functions:

*Work closely with the team to manage office efficiency, expedite flow, and maximize customer care so that patients have an excellent experience in the office.

*Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain relationships with patients.

*Assist in modalities such as Traction table and Electrical Stimulation.

*Helping to oversee the coordination of the front office activities including checking patients in & out, collections, answering phones, and scheduling.

*Notating documentation to include subjective, objective, charge codes, and diagnoses in our EHR system for the Practitioners. The notes must be completed within 48 hours of the time of the patient visit to submit to the insurance company.

*Assisting the Practice Manager with the facilitation of the flow of the back office operations by delegating responsibilities to the assistants and massage therapists.

*Engaging with insurance companies to verify and oversee coverage for patients.

*Establishing and maintaining relationships with patients in the office.

*Attending periodic training sessions and meetings pertinent to position.

*Performing all other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager or Clinic Director.
