Position Overview:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. You will play a key role in creating a positive work environment, supporting employee growth, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for contributing to a thriving organizational culture.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Recommend new policies, approaches, and procedures.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for new hires.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive work environment. Promote employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive and fair remuneration. This includes processing payroll runs and reconciling benefits billing.
  • Implement performance management systems to drive employee development and engagement.
  • Provide guidance on HR compliance matters, staying up-to-date with employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Handle employee grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support strategic workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Foster effective communication between employees and management to enhance overall workplace satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.
  • Minimum of five years proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in engineering firms, professional services firms, or other firms with technically focused employees.
  • Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000 - $90,000/year
