JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for an efficient payroll administrator to be responsible for all payroll processes. The payroll administrator's duties include the management of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, computing wages, and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time. JOB RESPONSIBILITES: Process bi-weekly payroll within payroll system. Reconciliation reporting within payroll system. Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll related matters. Coordinating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data. Processing of payroll deductions including garnishments, child-support, benefits, and 401k deductions Issuing paychecks and managing direct deposits General knowledge of accounting principles Calculating overtime, deductions, bonuses, and tax withholdings Responsible for tracking employee PTO and absence information Assisting the C.FO. and Controller with Worker’s Compensation audits Experience working with accounting and payroll software Support and assist Accounts Receivable team Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years of experience processing payroll with similar size company preferred ADP and / or Paylocity payroll software experience preferred however other software application use will be considered. Attention to detail Ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations including garnishment deduction administration Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Must pass a background and credit check.
