Rasmussen Injury Law is a plaintiff personal injury law firm with offices in Mesa, Glendale, and Tucson Arizona. The firm handles many forms of injury claims including motor vehicle accidents, assaults, dog bites, slip and falls, sexual abuse, and medical malpractice.

Multiple firms in the state rely on Rasmussen Injury Law to handle the litigation of their injury claims. Because of that, attorneys handle many, if not most of their cases in litigation. Additionally, many of the co-counsel litigation files and direct clients are Spanish speaking.

Rasmussen Injury Law is looking for an associate attorney who wants to learn personal injury/civil litigation and have potential to grow with the firm. Experience in personal injury/civil litigation is helpful, but not required. The firm is willing to train and help the right graduate/newly admitted attorney or attorney looking for a stable caseload and good work environment.

The position would require the attorney to handle anywhere from 90-150 files at various stages (not all litigation) and would include work such as:

• Meeting with clients, discussing the claim, advising them on their rights.
• Prepare demand letters and negotiate with insurance adjusters
• Work out liens and balances to finalize settlements
• Prepare and file lawsuits
• Prepare disclosure statements
• Prepare and answer discovery
• Prepare clients for and defend depositions
• Take depositions of defendants and witnesses
• Arbitrate cases and prepare for trial with help of senior attorney

The ideal candidate will be:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) both spoken and written - but not required.
• Technologically savvy (we use client management software and other digital means to handle cases)
• Great customer service
• Able to handle direction from other attorney(s).

The position includes a salary (DOE) paid every two weeks, also offers per case bonuses, and provides a path for partnership, if desired.
