Description
The Advancement Officer will support the efforts of the Advancement Office in addition to specifically managing the fundraising database and alumni relations initiatives.
Performance responsibilities
1. Process donations (gift entry through gift acknowledgment) and provide data-driven analysis utilizing the fundraising database.
2. Assist the Director of Advancement in driving the advancement calendar, scheduling meetings, and providing administrative support.
3. Manage and execute annual fund appeals for various constituency groups.
4. Manage and execute initiatives to build and maintain alumni relationships.
5. Manage and execute alumni events.
6. Maintain alumni social media platforms and advancement website pages.
7. Assist in the execution of Advancement office events.
8. Assist the Advancement team in producing advancement office collateral, including print and digital media.
9. Attend school-related community engagement events as needed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:

• exhibit effective time management and organizational skills.
• build productive relationships with alumni.
• manage multiple projects and work assignments simultaneously.
• possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• be proficient in database management procedures.
• hold a bachelor's degree and have significant work experience in a related field.
• be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Classification: Full-time, 12 months, Non-exempt.
