Financial Controller

Job Description

The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing all financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing a team and working with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations of the company
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage and develop a team of financial professionals
• Collaborate with senior executives to develop financial strategies and plans
• Identify and mitigate financial risks
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Prior experience working specifically with Home Health/Home Care or Hospice
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Experience managing a team
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
