We are now hiring for a Customer Experience Representative 2 who will work in our Call Center department on Oahu. This position will provide our clients with outstanding Island Hospitality and to help others plan their ultimate dream vacation using our Live Concierge Anywhere (LCA) concept. As a Customer Experience representative, you will be working remotely from home in a call center environment booking tours and activities for all PH destinations (Mexico, Europe, Caribbean, etc.) in addition to Hawaii. Provide as an answering service for our vendors and respond to emails.
This position is remote - work from home. You must have an area at home where you will be able to work without interruption. It is preferable if you have internet, if not, this will be provided by Pleasant Holidays.
Please note: New Hire Orientation, onboarding and training will be conducted in the Honolulu Office and/or the Sheraton Waikiki Manor Wing Office. This will be coordinated by Human Resources and your manager.
Salary: Starting rate of pay at $17.50/hr commission on tours and activities sold. Additional compensation paid for hours worked after 6:30 PM (HST) - $2.50/hour differential pay.
Status: Full Time (non-exempt); Must be available to work on the weekends.
Scheduled Hours: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Qualifications & Experience:
Prior experience in sales and/or customer service (1-3 years, preferred)
Experience working within the tourism/hospitality/travel field (highly preferred)
Exceptional sales and customer service skills (preferred)
Knowledge of the Hawaiian Islands & Travel industry in general
Knowledge of the Tours and Activities we have to offer (training provided)
Ability to grasp customer requirements and cater to individual needs
Love for interacting with people from different cultures
Ability to take initiative, work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
Basic computer literacy (required)
Experience using a POS system (preferred)
Able to read, write and speak English fluently (required)
Able to read, write and speak Japanese fluently (required)
