Payler Wholesale Print Production is Hiring a Shipping and Receiving Near Fenton, MO
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for the Shipping and finishing in accordance with procedures and guidelines. Ensures all final products meet Payler standards and customer expectations.
PAYLER STANDARD EXPECTATIONS:
- Communicates with customers and co-workers in a prompt, professional, and positive manner
- Ensures clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to management
- Takes instruction from management thoroughly
- Pays close attention to detail
- Maintains production records (i.e. notes, dates, initials, receipts)
- Maintains specifications and inspect finished products to ensure satisfactory quality
- Updates job knowledge, industry trends and new ideas
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment including, but not limited to, trash removal, sanitation, sweeping and general organization, and notifies management that daily duties are completed
- Backup assigned co-worker as outlined in Payler’s backup procedures
- Navigate the ordering system from Print to Completed leaving notes as needed
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Picking and preparing items for shipment
- Assisting with receiving shipments
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills, ability to handle and organize daily paperwork
- Strong communication skills, ability to write e-mails to people inside and outside organization.
- Completes weekly cycle counting / inventory investigation as assigned by Shipping Manager
- Interacts with third party logistics companies to coordinate shipments
- Analyzes shipping costs and works to identify and implement department savings opportunities
- Functions as a backup for the Shipping Manager as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned
- HOURS: Full-Time, 8:30-5:00, M-F
