Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist customer experience, sales, and customers in proper selection, and use of NORD Products.
• Complete assigned projects on:
• Implementing proper control documentation and procedures to assure product is correctly manufactured, assembled, selected, and tailored (i.e. modified) for specific applications.
• Modifying product to tailor it to specific applications.
• Documenting product information for use by customer experience, sales, and customers.
• Prepare materials for training on Nord products and general technical topics.
• Provide training as required to internal and external customers.
• Review/design/calculate complicated applications and product modifications.
• Travel with Salespeople to assist with technical presentations and discussions.
• Perform field sales and service calls as required.

Job Requirements:

1. Education: 4-year degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
2. Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience with electromechanical power transmission

4. Skills and Key Attributes: Strong understanding of gearbox design and operation. Familiar with general industrial processes that utilize gear reducers and motors
5. 2D CAD experience or the ability to learn 2D CAD software. Ability to learn inverter programming and basic knowledge of industrial wiring. Work well with customers in a friendly manner. Ability to communicate technical concepts verbally and in writing.
6. Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a desk for 8 hours per day. The ability to travel without restrictions.
