Description

Our growing company is in search for new talent for the role of Feed Site Manager:

Summary: Manage all aspects of the assigned site including feed production and delivery. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage the location’s feed production, and delivery employees.
  • Manage feed production operations in accordance with New Vision quality and safety standards.
  • Manage feed, grain, warehouse and ingredient inventory to accommodate feed production.
  • Order bulk and bagged (if applicable) feed ingredients.
  • Complete necessary reports and support paperwork as requested.
  • Ensure satisfactory completion of New Vision’s new employee orientation and safety training programs.
  • Work with the Feed QA Manager to maintain HACCP status.
  • Maintain a professional site appearance.
  • Ensure facilities and equipment are clean and well maintained.
  • Inform Supervisor or Feed Department Manager of business opportunities or business improvement projects.
  • Accept additional responsibilities and duties as directed by the Supervisor, Feed Department Manager or Chief Executive Officer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and four years’ related experience; or H.S. Diploma/GED and a minimum of six years experience in feed operations or sales.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Feed manufacturing software and Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Voluntary training in providing First Aid and CPR
