Position Summary

As a Shift Supervisor you oversee and supervise all Nature's Finest Security (NFS) personnel at location; responsibilities include planning, scheduling, organizing and directing work, and training personnel. Your position may require you to work outside in any type of weather, to remain vigilant and on post at all times, to report for every shift on time and in proper uniform.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure all site log book entries, vertical tour reports, visitors' log, eminence log, and incident reports are accurate. And all necessary documents are submitted to the NFS office and the Property Manager.
• Prepare monthly and periodic reports for Property Manager and NFS officials regarding site activities. 
• Inspect all security personnel to ensure that they reflect the image of NFS and be well groomed and in uniform during tour of duty.
• Teach and enforce NFS regulations at the work site and provide training to all employees on site policies and procedures.
• Enforce disciplinary action notices to employee who violates company rules and procedures and report notices to Director of Operations and Human Resources.
• Recommend employees for promotions, suspend, termination based employee work history.
• Review utilization and maintenance of security equipment and inform appropriate personnel of any issues.
• Perform unannounced site inspections to ensure guards are in compliance with company rules and procedures.
• Be relatively available to communicate about security needs and problems with guards, NFS and Property Management authorities.
• Perform all duties of a Security Guard and related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years proven experience as a supervisor
• One year of excellent customer service skills
• Excellent time management and leadership skills

License/Certification Requirements

• Security Officer License
• F01 Card
