Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Instructor with a specialization in robotics, coding, and anatomy to teach multi-level science courses. The ideal candidate will have experience in utilizing project-based learning techniques to engage students in hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of providing intervention support in career literacy within the classroom setting, preparing students for future academic and professional pursuits in STEM fields.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and deliver engaging science lessons across various levels, incorporating biology, physical science, anatomy, chemistry, content to cater to diverse student needs.
- Utilize project-based learning techniques to create interactive and hands-on learning experiences that encourage student participation and critical thinking.
- Integrate real-world applications of science concepts, particularly in the areas of robotics, coding, and anatomy, to enhance student understanding and engagement.
- Provide intervention support in career literacy within the classroom, assisting students in developing essential skills for future academic and professional success in STEM fields.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive STEM curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

2. Classroom Management:
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation.
- Establish clear expectations for behavior and academic performance and enforce consistent classroom rules and routines.
- Manage student behavior effectively, address conflicts, and provide positive reinforcement.
- Maintain an organized and conducive learning environment.
3. Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
- Assess student progress regularly using a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development.
- Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and differentiate instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to analyze student performance data and identify strategies for improvement.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
- Establish effective communication channels with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders.
- Regularly communicate student progress, behavioral concerns, and academic achievements to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Education, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification/license in Mathematics or relevant area.
- Proven experience teaching math across multiple levels, preferably in a STEM-focused environment.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues in a co-teaching atmosphere.
