Medbest Medical Management is Hiring a MRI Technologist Near Syracuse, NY
- Under the supervision of the administrator and MRI staff, the employee performs MRI exams competently for consistent outcome of established imaging protocols.
- Responsible for patient identification, reviews MRI screening form for patient to safely enter the MRI suite, obtaining patient history, giving explanation of exam and procedure to be performed, patient positioning.
- Setting up protocols for the scans and performs intravenous contrast injections on patients (per NYS injection certification). Must have knowledge of age specific dosing for MRI.
- Responsible for QA procedures, performing research projects under the direction of physicians.
- Reviews images for technical and diagnostic quality and correct labeling of images.
- Uses a PACS system. Responsible for billing and tracking of patients utilizing the EPIC System.
- Responsible for following SUNY policies, procedures and DVN guidelines.
- Cleans and maintains MRI scanners.
