We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our team and contribute to our mission.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resource Generalist will be a key player in supporting the HR functions of our organization. This role requires a versatile and resourceful individual who can manage a wide range of HR tasks, ensuring that our staff is well-supported and our HR practices align with our organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, background checks, and reference checks.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Mediate conflicts and support resolution processes.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.
  • Track and document performance evaluations and related processes.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Prepare and submit required HR reports and documentation.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of training programs and workshops.
  • Support career development initiatives for staff.

Benefits Administration:

  • Coordinate benefit enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and issues.
  • Manage leave of absence requests and documentation.

HR Projects and Initiatives:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
  • Contribute to organizational development and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support HR-related events and activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resource Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a healthcare or mental health setting is preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Typical office environment with occasional travel to various organizational sites.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work for special events or urgent issues.
