Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Specialist with a background in insurance claims to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of insurance law, a proven track record of handling insurance claims, and the ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients in the commercial trucking domain.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to insurance claims.
• Provide expert guidance on insurance policies, coverage issues, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to gather information and build strong cases.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including settlement agreements, contracts, and legal correspondence.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings related to insurance claims.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive legal advice.

Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited law school.
• Spanish
• 3 years of experience in insurance law, with a focus on handling insurance claims.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage issues, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with [specific types of insurance, e.g., property insurance, liability insurance, etc.].
• Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Familiarity with [relevant software/tools used in the legal industry].
